Mark Turnage is the Vice Chairman of the Board and former CEO of OpSec Security Group. He was one of the original employees of OpSec, a startup based in Denver aimed at providing technologies to combat the growing threat of counterfeiting of products and documents. The company grew to be one of the world’s largest providers of anti-counterfeiting technologies and services, and numbers among its customers over 50 governments and 300 corporations. It has manufacturing operations in the US and the UK, and offices in Germany, Hong Kong and the Dominican Republic.
Mark is a graduate of Yale Law School, Oxford University, and the University of Colorado, Boulder. Prior to joining OpSec he worked at McKinsey & Co. in New York, and as an attorney with Davis, Graham and Stubbs in Denver. He serves on numerous corporate and non-profit boards, and is a private investor in technology and manufacturing startup companies. Mark speaks Arabic and Spanish, is married with four children, and lives in Denver, Colorado.
